The Journey to Health and Detoxing the Sane Way!

Learn why a raw, plant-based diet is the smart way to eat and how to make it fast, easy and delicious. I share the top reasons to go raw, how much raw food you need to eat for optimal health, what cooked foods to include in a healthy diet and which foods should be eliminated for health and longevity. Keep in mind that your investment in healthy eating and cleansing will pay big dividends. Finding balance is not always easy when habits are ingrained, emotional attachments, and societal norms and pressures are present. Exploring unmet needs in our food choices is often the first step into growing towards new and healthy habits.

Skin and Large Intestine Detox, Module III of VI

Having completed the Lung Detox Module I; Bladder Detox, Hydrating and Alkalizing Module II, we are ready to move to the last of the essential foundational modules, Skin and large Intestine Detox. After this module, we go into deeper detoxes. It is essential that we implement this module before doing any of the other cleanses.

There are four simple goals in this module.

Goal 1 – Skin Clearing
We want our skin to be clear. If our skin is blocked up with waste, that’s a challenge and that’s the first thing we need to address.

Goal 2 – Skin Release
Once our skin is clear and unblocked, we want to focus on regular skin release. The skin is the most beneficial elimination channel to detoxify through because it’s the only one that bypasses the blood. The more toxins we can get out via the skin, the better. Once the skin is clear we want to focus as much as possible on releasing toxins via the skin.

Goal 3 – Large Intestine Release
With the large intestine we first release old waste and then clear it. Most people’s intestines are not moving as they should be and there is some degree of constipation. We want to get rid of any backlog.

Goal 4 – Large Intestine Clear
This goal is to have the large intestine be clear most of the time. We want to have several bowel movements a day i.e. at least one bowel movement per meal. You find you are closer to that than you were before as a result of applying Module II.

All dishes will be made from a balance of wholesome, cleansing ingredients, and organic when available. We begin each meal with a short meditation and practice mindful eating.

The Raw Food Lifestyle being the main focus, this workshop is open regardless of your present eating lifestyle. You might be pleasantly surprised how well and energized you feel after experiencing a day of raw food.

On our day together we prepare:

  • Green drink Hippocrates style
  • Erika’s 3 Seed breakfast
  • Spinach avocado soup
  • Nori Rolls
  • Daikon ginger salad
  • Raw apple crumble
  • Fruit, lemon, an assortment of teas, and flax crackers are available all day.

Space is limited to 5 participants, please register early. A $50.00 deposit is required to hold your space.

Proper and consistent detoxing as part of this lifestyle and is vital if you want excellent health but it’s easy to do badly and end up feeling weak, headachy or having horrible symptoms. Most people think of detox as going straight into fasting or juice fasting or cutting out most foods or burning off toxins with lots of exercise etc. These methods are all effective but they have to be done in the appropriate way at the appropriate time otherwise you’re likely to feel worse than ever, as you might have discovered first hand when you attempted it.
In the 6 consecutive modules we look at:
Where do toxins come from?
Where does toxicity go?
Wow do you start the detox process?
Routes the body uses to transport toxins out of the body.
The missing piece; what percentage of total toxicity does each exit handle?
What way of detoxing DOES work?
In practice, how do you clear the exit pathways?
Action Steps.

In recent history, mankind has managed to drastically change the chemistry of the environment in which we live. For example, in 1996 alone, more than 418,000,000 pounds of chemicals were released into the ground, threatening a portion of the soil we grow our food in and the natural underground water tables that supply some of our drinking water.
Over 45,000,000 pounds of chemicals were also discharged into surface waters such as lakes and rivers. More than 1,000,000,000 pounds of chemical emissions were pumped into the air we breathe.
A grand total of 2,433,506,582 pounds of chemical pollutants were released into the environment we eat, breathe, and live in, all in just one year. While it is important to be aware of toxins and do our best to avoid major sources, we can't escape the reality of worldwide pollution on many levels.
The best strategy is to practice good health habits and cultivate a vital life force capable of dealing with environmental stresses.
Cleansing is an important part of developing and maintaining a balanced body system, resistant to the excesses of the world.
